Wilderness Log Cabin Retreats
Not everyone wants their adventures to include portaging and tenting...
Some families,
naturalists or wilderness buffs want to experience boreal wilderness
landscapes, but would like the comfort of handcrafted log retreats for
sleeping and cooking. We offer two great options for people looking for this
type of getaway, Shawanabis Lake Cabins and our new Allanwater Bridge Cabin. |

Shawanabis Lake Cabins
No phones, no faxes, no roads, no other people... just real
virgin wilderness lakes and forests. When the roar of the
departing float plane fades away, you are left with the
silence of the boreal forest.
You can explore Shawanabis and nearby lakes by canoe, kayak,
or hiking trail (Yes, we would be happy to supply a motor
boat!).
You can swim, enjoy the sauna, birdwatch, paddle, fish, or just soak up the healing
and tranquil Wabakimi wilderness.
Some people also like to combine
a Shawanabis experience with a canoe trip of
any length...

Allanwater Bridge Cabin
We
are pleased to announce our newest addition to our selection of services
and cabins for our guests. The Allanwater Bridge outpost is located on
the CN rail line in the historic 'ghost town' and former Hudson Bay outpost
of Allanwater Bridge. Located at the junction of the Brightsand and Allanwater
rivers this location offers incredible fishing and canoe tripping opportunities.
Also an incredible destination on its own, come here to fish, swim, canoe
& kayak, and relax.
